#FirstTrimester
Well.... this happened:
After over 7 months of trying, we finally got a "viable pregnancy". We're thrilled!
Here is an honest review of my first trimester.... in GIFS!
Joy! Terror! Sore boobies!
Remember that time we hosted a going away party until 3am and I pretended to be drunk the entire time?
And I realized that yes, most of my life revolves around alcohol... and that bars can be preeeettty boring when you're sober...
.... then I realized that I will be skipping Summer cocktails, Pumpkin-spiced craft beers in Colorado, and ALL THE HOLIDAY PARTIES??!
... But I don't even care because I'm too tired to function...
And my normal diet of healthy food has me like....
.... and TERRIFIED of losing the baby with like, every step I take.
But guys, I'm like, seriously still cool.... Going to rock this pregnancy like...
Teaching my regular schedule of group fitness classes while "hiding" a pregnancy like:
....Looking at all the beautiful bumps of my further-along friends and clients like....
When you do the math and realize that no, we're not pregnant for 9 months.... it's Ten. Ten. Fucking. Months............
... Managing my sudden sweet-tooth cravings like.....
... and then when someone sees right through your lie like....
... and then you're finally ready to announce... and then someone else announces their pregnancy before you do....
So we waited to share.... for a lonnngggg time.....
Frankly, why is 12 weeks customary? There are 2 major screens at 16 and 20 weeks.... how is 12 weeks "in the clear"???
So I'm just chilling here .... in the second trimester.... because after waiting over 7 months of painful waiting for a positive pregnancy test I just don't want to "jinx it" ...
While I slowly grow out of my clothes....
Assuming my clients just think I'm out of shape...
Knowing that the second trimester is around the corner....
We got this fellow first-trimester sisters!!! Sooner than we know we will be snuggling a newborn and willing to do it all over again!
